Tao of Tiny

I think this is one of the most beautiful tiny houses I’ve seen yet:

It was built as an OR (Outdoor Research, an outdoor gear/apparel company) project for several ski/snowboard bums to travel around the West in search of great snow & company. I particularly like the curvy styling, the use of a tiny wood-burning stove, and especially the old-thyme red board & batten siding, which you don’t usually see used on tiny houses. (Yes, I hope to use it on mine!) It looks like he did a really nice job on this house – he clearly had previous construction experience!

If you go to OR‘s website, you can see videos of their adventures, (I like the teaser) particularly about the crazy roads they took this house up! (See “session 3”)

Oh, and by the way: The image above is linked to how I first stumbled upon this project and a great source of earthy architectural inspiration in itself – wonderful blog with the very clever title of Free Cabin Porn. 😉
